Elliott R. Subervi - S.V.P. National Operations

Elliott SuberviElliott Subervi joined Utopia as managing director in 2008. His overall business acumen, as well as his extensive knowledge and experience in sales, marketing, training and team development have helped Utopia Communications expand from a single office in Red Bank, NJ, to a national boutique agency known for its award-winning campaigns.

In addition to spearheading the agency’s expansion, Elliott continues to offer counsel and support to our key national accounts. His reputation and relationships with national media outlets and their editors, reporters and producers helps Utopia’s clients garner the national attention they need and deserve.

Prior to entering the world of public relations, Elliott’s sales and marketing talents helped companies such as RCN, Qwest, LCI, and Verizon (where he was named salesman of the year for three consecutive years) expand their footprints and increase their presence in the Northeast market with remarkable results.

Moreover, his former position as director of training for Verizon New England makes him uniquely suited to mentor and develop the expertise of our talented team of professionals.

Elliott’s unique multi-disciplined background gives him an insight into our client’s business that many traditional communications professionals lack. This adds to our creative brain trust and allows us to bring a diversity of thought and solutions to our clients and the challenges they face. For example, Elliott’s background in sales, in particular, gives the agency a much focused, results-oriented mindset that is greatly appreciated by our growing roster of clients.

Elliott is a member of the Hispanic Public Relations Association, the Latin Business Club of America, the Latin Association, the League of United Latin American Citizens and the National Society for Hispanic Professionals Network. He has a fluent understanding of several languages including Spanish & Portuguese, which allows us to more effectively communicate with a variety of markets on behalf of our clients.

It’s no surprise that Elliott was enticed by Utopia’s mission. After all, he graduated in 1986 from the University of Central Florida with a BA in Social Services. Elliott’s career began with a focus on social responsibility long before he successfully entered the world of business, and he’s delighted to work with an agency that is highly-principled and working to make the world a better place.
